Comparison of Existing and Approved Development in Pasco County in 1999 and 2022

This map was developed as part of an update to the 2002 Wildlife Habitat Assessment conducted for Pasco County's Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources Department. The assessment aims to evaluate the effectiveness of actions taken to protect natural resources and identify any challenges that may arise. The objectives of this review are to assess and update information related to the conservation of natural lands in Ecological Corridors, Ecological Planning Units (EPUs), and the Agricultural Reserve. This map illustrates land uses classified as developed by the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), along with Approved Master Plan Units for Development (MPUDs). ArcGIS Pro v3.1 was utilized to create this map.
